Tim Morrison is an Australian singer/songwriter/performer who has been making headlines in the music industry for over 10 years.
Tim’s foundation as a musician began at an early age. Growing up in a household of 7 kids - all music lovers, it seemed inevitable that he would be influenced by the plethora of music surrounding him. At 12 years of age he was playing guitar, singing, writing songs, and looking for inspiration from some of his greatest influences - Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Queen, The Doors, Michael Jackson, and later, Jeff Buckley, INXS, Sound Garden, Kurt Elling, Bjork, Nirvana, and Radiohead, to name but a few.
Trial Kennedy toured extensively in a successful career spanning over a decade. With immense support from Australia’s iconic radio station, Triple J, they quickly ascended from performing small pub gigs to playing major stadiums and festivals all across the country. Numerous career highlights included performing alongside internationally acclaimed bands such as ‘Fall Out Boy’, ‘Good Charlotte’, ‘The Deftones’, and phenomenally successful Australian talent - ‘Silverchair’, ‘Birds of Tokyo’, and ‘John Butler Trio’. They also performed on ‘Channel V’, the international music television network, and Australia’s ‘The Footy Show’ on Channel 9.
After Trial Kennedy disbanded in 2012, Tim tried out for the top-charting TV show ‘The Voice’ in 2013. His experience on ‘The Voice’ included working with celebrated Australian artist, Delta Goodrem and succeeding in becoming one of her top 4 finalists. After his outstanding run on 'The Voice’ and the overwhelming exposure and response he received, Tim traveled extensively, predominantly working in the USA with various acclaimed producers/engineers. On the back of developing new material, his debut single 'Shine' was released in December 2015.
In addition to this, Tim was selected by the independent Australian production company, ‘Spirit Works’, where he set out on two national tours throughout theatres performing as one of the lead singers of the highly acclaimed ‘Beatles Back 2 Back’ show.
